During an interim period, Frances Loeb Library staff will coordinate access to restricted digital images found in HOLLIS Images.  This is only for images that have Frances Loeb Library indicated as the Harvard Repository and on campus visiting researchers.

As always, Harvard researchers can authenticate with HarvardKey to access digital images that appear blurry in HOLLIS Images.

Visiting researchers should submit an Ask a Design Librarian ticket with the below information:

Question:

Visitor access to restricted digital images

More Detail/Explanation:

1. Visitor’s name and affiliation

2. Number of images/objects requested

3. List of URLs found in the Image Information "Permalink to this image"

4. Date by which the items are needed

5. Reason for image use

Please note, file access differs from publishing requests. When image access is gained, it will not be to publication quality images.  Frances Loeb Library staff will work through details with each researcher's access request.
