In-library scanners:
We have an overhead scanner on the first floor with 24/7 access to GSD community members.
We also have a flatbed scanner connected to a computer that you may use, and this is located on the bottom floor.
Scans can be saved to a USB drive or emailed.
Please note that the scanner in Special Collections is available only for Special Collections items, not general use.
The library has one 35mm slide scanner on the lower level.
Additionally, the Lamont Multimedia Lab (Lamont Library, Level-B) has two Epson V600 flatbed scanners with 35mm slide inserts available for self-service. The Multimedia Lab is available to all Harvard affiliates. See the Multimedia Lab’s website for current hours and up-to-date information.
If you are a HUID holder and are interested in scans of material in our general collection:
We offer a service called "Scan and Deliver" through the greater Harvard Library system. Scan & Deliver provides scanned copies of library materials upon request.
